The Chateau

The Chateau is a superb example of CIMG’s redesign capabilities and sensitivity to historic preservation. The project consisted of the rehabilitation of 47 units of rental housing into upgraded apartments with central heating and air conditioning, spacious floor plans, fully equipped kitchens, and wall to wall carpeting, as well as the addition of on-site parking and a fitness center. Special care was taken to preserve the historic details of the building, while transforming it into an efficient, attractive, and enduring residential structure.

In recognition of an outstanding historic housing product, CIMG received the prestigious Historic Preservation Award from Baltimore Heritage, Inc. The renovation of The Chateau has played a crucial role in the revitalization of this historically significant neighborhood.
